Every Westover girl will compete interscholastically before she graduates except for those with the most intense committments in music and dance. Whether you play on one of our JV teams or lead a New England Championship squad, competitive athletics add a priceless dimension to your education.

Westover offers 19 interscholastic teams in nine competitive sports over three seasons. Fall offerings include cross country, field hockey and soccer. Basketball, squash and volleyball are featured in the Winter; while lacrosse, softball and tennis compete during the Spring.

Recently, Westover basketball, cross country, softball and squash teams have all qualified for and competed in New England and National Tournaments, bringing home New England championships in squash and cross country, and Western New England titles in volleyball. In the Connecticut Independent School Athletic Conference, all participating Westover teams have consistently been involved in post-season tournament play with cross country, tennis and softball winning top honors and field hockey and basketball placing high.
