Lacrosse

 

Westover Lacrosse continues to build the program as they look to attract more girls who have had club and middle school Lacrosse experience. The program teaches the importance of good sportsmanship, healthful lifestyle choices and teamwork. Members of the team set goals as a group as well as individually for each game as well as the season. The athletes support each other in practices and games and challenge each other to improve every day. Players look to further their playing experience and join Westover alums already playing at the collegiate level. Five returning members of the 2007 team attended summer camps and played in their local summer programs.

The 2008 team has high hopes of improving on last years record as the team returns the leading scorer and assist player and New England and CISAC All Star.
