Westover Varsity Basketball Hosted Charity Basketball Scrimmage to Help Families in Need

On Friday December 4th, Westover Varsity Basketball hosted a Charity Basketball Scrimmage raising $175.00, $75.00 in grocery gift cards and 3 large boxes of non-perishable food. Westover Head Coach Marty Pelosi wanted to give the players an opportunity to assist local families in need during the holiday season. The team scrimmaged Nonnewaug High School, Woodbury and Oxford High School, Oxford, who were thrilled to take part in the event.
