Meet the Athletic Department
Lizanne (Tiz) Mulligan, Director of Athletics
Tiz attended Kent School, Kent CT where she played basketball and softball serving as captain for both her senior year. She was a founding rower for the girls' crew program and rowed in the first boat for three years.
She earned a B.S. in Health, Recreation and Physical Education from Ursinus College. Tiz coached field hockey, basketball and lacrosse for ten years at Kent School. She was a founding member of the first girls' basketball league, WNEPSGBA and earned two league championships. In her final year at Kent, she led the varsity lacrosse program to a fourth place finish in New England. She coached soccer and basketball in local, travel, and Division I programs for twelve years.
As well, Tiz founded a lacrosse program for girls in her community and coached for four years.
Sara Reid, Assistant Director of Athletics
Sara grew up in Nova Scotia before attending Westminster School as an international boarding student. She holds a degree in Recreation Management and Marketing from Acadia University, where she played varsity soccer and ice hockey. Sara and her husband, Bryce, have two kids, Harper and Blake, and a dog named Oakley.
Allison Standish, Athletic Trainer
Allison joined the Wildcats in the end of Fall of 2016 as Westover’s Interim Athletic Trainer. She joined us full-time in the Fall of 2017. She graduated from Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH. in May 2014 and became a certified athletic trainer (ATC). After graduating from college she did a 9-month long internship from August 2014-May 2015 at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY taking care of all Men and Women's Division II collegiate athletes. Since Fall 2015, she has been pursuing her Masters of Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport Psychology at Southern Connecticut State University, which she will complete in May 2017. Her other employment includes Access Rehabilitation Center working with Naugatuck High School. She is certified in First Aid/CPR/AED and a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA).
