Westover Varsity Softball 2018

Westover's Softball program has seen much success in recent years, going well over .500 regularly.

The players are encouraged to work hard on fundamental skills to prepare themselves mentally and physically and always play with passion. Every time they step onto the field, they approach the game with a winning attitude, and the 2017 season should bring continued success to the program.

The 2018 team returns a core of veteran players who look forward to competing for the league championship. The team will have most of last year's returners back on the squad. Leading the team will be seniors Emily D., and Sarah W.

The team welcomes a few new players to the varsity roster. The team is coached by Cathie Gemino Hillian '99, Sam Peterson, and Allison Standish. Hillian was a member of the 1999 Western New England Preparatory School Softball Association championship team, when the Wildcats took home the title.
