JV Softball Team 2018

The junior varsity program is coached by Kati Eggert, in her seventh season at Westover. The program's purpose is to teach the girls the sport of softball through various drills and practice games. The girls learn technique in throwing, fielding, and batting. Throughout the season, the team generally has eight to ten games to learn the strategy in competition, in an effort to prepare them for the varsity level.

The 2018 team consists of 10 players, of which six are returners in the program. The team has seen much success in its recent years and is preparing for another successful season. The team opens its season with Kent on the road before its home opener with Miss Halls.
