November 10, 2014 JV Soccer Team
The Wildcats of the Week for Monday, November 10th, 2014 are the players on the JV Soccer Team! The squad is recognized for their outstanding performances in the last two games of the season against Kent and Porters: the toughest teams they faced all season. With a record of 9-0 going into these games, the Wildcats realized that they had to stick together and play with determination in order to achieve their goal: to win all the games in the season or to at least remain undefeated.
In the second half of last Saturday's Kent game, the team found themselves playing from behind for the first time this season. However, they only did so for fifteen minutes as the Wildcats ignited with newly found energy to dominate the rest of the game and to tie it with a final score of 1 -1.
At the Porters game this past Wednesday, the team denied a well-organized and strong Porters team from producing any significant threats. The team played with a lot of heart and intensity. The JV team finished with an undefeated season, producing the best record the team has ever witnessed.
