For Mainland China
Students whose current residency is Mainland China and/or who have Republic of China citizenship are required to first complete an interview with Vericant, our affiliate in China. If a student is currently attending school in the United States, they are not required to interview with Vericant.

Step 3: Apply with the SAO
- Our priority deadline for the 2024-2025 school year is January 15th, 2024.
- Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis, as space permits post-January 2024.
Standard Application Online (SAO)
We use the Standard Application Online (SAO). You will be asked to provide the following materials:
- Applicant information
- Application fee ($65 for domestic applicants; $100 for international applicants)
- Student essays
- Parent Questionnaire
- Current and prior year transcripts
- Recommendations (standardized forms sent via SAO directly to the teacher, principal or guidance counselor) from:
- Current English teacher
- Current Math teacher
- Current principal or guidance counselor OR another adult who knows you well
- Standardized tests OR graded writing samples.
- English proficiency test is required for international applicants. We accept TOEFL and Duolingo scores.
- Please note that standardized testing is optional. If you choose not to submit standardized test scores, we require a graded academic writing sample.
