    We would love to host you on campus and learn more about you! A campus tour is the perfect way to experience all that Westover has to offer and an interview is one of the most exciting and essential parts of the admission process.

  • Step 3: Submit Your Application

    Our priority deadline for the 2026-2027 school year is January 15, 2026. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis, as space permits after January 2026. Westover School uses the Standard Application Online and standardized testing is optional. If an applicant chooses not to submit standardized test scores, Westover’s Office of Admission requires a graded academic writing sample.

  •  It’s non-binding. You don’t have to commit to Westover yet. You’re simply letting us know that Westover is a top school on your list.
  • Less waiting, more celebrating. You’ll receive your admission decision sooner, giving you more time to plan your next adventure.
  • Exclusive scholarship opportunity. Interested Early Decision applicants can apply for the Westover Early Decision Scholarship, a selective award recognizing students who embody Westover’s values of excellence, leadership, and community engagement.

To Be Considered for the Scholarship

  • Submit your complete admission application by December 12, 2025.
  • If you have already submitted your application under 'Regular Decision' but would like to be switched over to 'Early Decision' consideration, please email your request to admission@westoverschool.org. 

Important Scholarship Details

  • Students who are selected for the scholarship must enroll no later than January 20, 2026 to receive the award.
  • Students who enroll after January 20 will still have their admission spot reserved, but will forfeit their scholarship.
  • Selection is based on multiple criteria, including academic achievement, leadership, creativity, and character.

    Early Decision deadline for Fall 2026 applications. 

  • January 15, 2026

    Deadline for Fall 2026 applications. Applications submitted after this date will be considered on a rolling basis.

  • January 15, 2026

    Deadline for completing the financial aid application

  • March 10, 2026

    Candidates who applied by January 15 will receive their admission decision.

  • April 10, 2026

    Accepted candidates must accept or decline Westover’s offer of enrollment.

  • Here's what is needed to apply with the Standard Application Online (SAO)

    • Applicant information
    • Application fee ($65 for domestic applicants; $100 for international applicants)
    • Student essays
    • Parent Questionnaire
    • Current and prior year transcripts
    • Recommendations (standardized forms sent via SAO directly to the teacher, principal or guidance counselor) from:
    • Current English teacher
    • Current Math teacher
    • Current principal or guidance counselor OR another adult who knows you well
    • Standardized tests OR graded writing samples.
    • English proficiency test is required for international applicants. We accept TOEFL and Duolingo scores.
    • Please note that standardized testing is optional. If you choose not to submit standardized test scores, we require a graded academic writing sample.
