When we ask alums about their favorite Westover traditions, the answer is often the Lantern Ceremony. Welcoming new community members, honoring the Senior class, singing cherished songs, and gathering together in a circle of light are memories that stay long after graduation.
At Reunion this year, we invite you to once again take part in this beloved tradition, with a slight twist. We’ll gather in the Johnson Quad for a traditional lantern circle while preserving all the meaning and nostalgia you remember, without a trip to Seven Sisters.
Whether you choose to carry a lantern or simply observe, we hope you’ll join us for this special moment of reflection, connection, and song.
