Established in 1954, the Westover Award is the highest honor presented by the Westover Alum Association. It is given to an individual whose tangible accomplishments are significant and whose life and spirit exemplify the School’s motto: to think, to do, to be.
Established in 2022, the Dr. Miriam DeCosta-Willis Social Justice Award honors an alum who has demonstrated extraordinary advocacy, activism, and leadership in advancing social justice. Named for Dr. DeCosta-Willis—the first African American student at Westover and a pioneering educator, author, and civil rights activist—the award celebrates those who use their education as a means to create change.
The Maria Randall Allen ’42 Volunteer Service Award recognizes an individual whose exceptional volunteerism and steadfast support embody Westover’s mission and spirit.
This award honors a Westover graduate five to fifteen years out who embodies the school’s mission through intellectual curiosity, creative achievement, integrity, and a commitment to community.
The Athletic Hall of Fame honors Westover alums whose accomplishments in sports—both during and after their time at the school—demonstrate exceptional skill, leadership, and dedication to athletics.
Each year the Board of Governors presents the Alum Association awards during Reunion Weekend. Help us celebrate our incredible community by nominating a classmate or friend.
