Westover vs Miss Halls

Coach Sandi
The Wildcats took home the win on Wednesday vs Miss Hall's.  The match of the day was our D3 line, Aileen and Yolanda, who after pulling ahead 5 - 3 had their opponents come fighting back to tie it at 6-6.  Normally a tie break is played at 8-8 but the coaches agreed to a tie break earlier.  Our players knew how to do a tie break, while the other players who were less experienced, did not.  Aileen and Yolanda prevailed 7 - 2 with everyone watching and cheering them on. As they say, the player who knows the rules often has a better match. Congratulations!

Special thanks to everyone who supported senior day yesterday. The long distance best wishes and the on site support was very much appreciated!  We honored our 7 graduating seniors, Paige, Jenny, Sally, Lilly, Yolanda, Erica and Adia.  My gratitude to Kami, Kitty and Cassie for bringing the team together for our poster signings and to Lindsey for coming to take photos!

We have 2 more to go - Friday vs CHS @ CHS and Saturday vs Harvey @ Harvey.  We're wrapping up the season finishing at the top. Let's take # 1 and host HVALs on Monday! Hope you can be there!
