Despite Multiple Home Runs From Hurtgen, Westover School Defeated By Millbrook School

Hurtgen hit two home runs and drove in three, but Westover School lost to Millbrook School 14-5 on Monday. Hurtgen homered in the third and fifth innings.
Westover School made the score 10-3 in the bottom of the third inning when Hurtgen homered to center field, scoring two runs, and Santos grounded out, scoring one run.

Westover School made the score 14-5 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Hurtgen hit a solo home run to right field.

Bird led things off in the circle for Westover School. The starter gave up eight hits and 10 runs over three innings, striking out three and walking seven. 

Coggins collected two hits for Westover School in two at-bats. Yi paced Westover School with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing five walks for the game. Coggins, Yi, and Bird each stole multiple bases for Westover School.
