Westover vs. Williams

Despite coming up short on the scoreboard, the Wildcats showed plenty of heart and hustle, highlighted by several standout performances. Aniella led the charge with a dominant all-around effort, finishing as the leading scorer with 12 points, while also controlling the paint with 10 rebounds and 2 blocks. Akemi provided a spark on offense, knocking down 7 points and grabbing 3 rebounds. Sophie was relentless on the glass, pulling down 8 huge rebounds to go along with 4 points, setting the tone with her toughness and effort. Terese battled inside as well, securing 4 rebounds, while Georgia and Emma brought relentless, hard-nosed defense that made every possession for the Blues a grind. Eva chipped in with 4 rebounds and 2 points, and Antonia added 2 points and 2 rebounds, continuing to compete until the final buzzer.

The loss doesn’t tell the full story. This was a gritty, high-effort performance that showed the Cats’ fight, resilience, and growth as a team.
