Families Association | 2025–2026

The Families Association is a global organization whose values uphold the Westover School's commitment to excellence in education by supporting the student experience, engaging in service, and fostering a strong sense of connection across 200+ current and past Westover families.
The Families Association brought thoughtful and unique experiences for every member of our community this year:
  • Family Weekend: Thanks to the David and Melissa Martin P’26, ’28 and John and Marisa Daddona P’24, ’28 for chairing the fall’s cocktail party at the Country Club of Waterbury.
  • Coffee in the Circle: Partnering with the Office of Advancement, the Association brought extra joy to mornings in Chapel Circle with coffee, tea, and pastries at drop-off.
  • A Full Heart: This incredible student event provided a holistic wellness program on self-care. Students leaned into a centering meditation with Lana LaChance, heart care with cardiologist Dr. Anjanette Ferris, M.D., and tutorials on hair care and skincare from The Curly Hair Salon and Trachouse Beauty Salon. Special thanks to the Families Association Executive Committee (FAEC) members––Nicole Nunez P’27, Vice President of FAEC and event chair; Rita Etchie P’26, Co-President of the FAEC; Eunice Agyapong P’28; Sarah Bird P’26; LaWanda Dates P’26, and Ruth Lopez P’28.
  • Faculty & Staff Appreciation
    • Fall:  Thank you to the 25 families who donated funds to say “thank you” to the faculty and staff for the Batchy Brew Coffee Truck.
    • Spring: The Families Association, chaired by Naiyma Pleasant P’27, shared their appreciation for Westover faculty and staff with a charcuterie board from Natasha Hibbert P’29, cupcakes from Lawrence Crimmins P’29 and Ruth Lopez P’28, 7-layer dip from Diane Holland P’28, and the opportunity to take home a delicious meal made by Eunice Agyapong P’28.
  • Challenge Success: Thank you to the parents representatives on the Challenge Success team this year: Naiyma Pleasant P’27 and Toria Caton P’28
Thank you to the Association, the FAEC, and all family members for making this year so special and being a part of Westover’s community!
