Westover Visits Watkinson on Senior Day

Westover headed to Hartford, Connecticut on Friday with a chance to seize control of the fifth seed in the upcoming HVAL Tournament on Monday.  Watkinson had already clinched the second seed and so there was not much on the line for the hosts.  Still, Watkinson came out clicking early and raced to an early 16-4 advantage.  Westover responded however and stayed within striking distance.  Leading only by 17 at 37-20 midway through the third quarter, Watkinson was finally able to put together a run that created a hole too far for Westover to get out of.  Even so, the Wildcats continued fighting, eventually falling 54-25.
