Westover vs Wooster

Coach Sandi
It was a great day for the Wildcats vs Wooster as we upset them 5 - 2 today, for another great win in HVALs. Before I share the individual results, I want to share the very special moment I had as a coach, when a parent from Wooster came up to me after we were done, recognizing the incredible kindness and support from Kiirsi who was not only encouraging of her daughter who was new to tennis, but shared some serving tips with the utmost of respect to her daughter who wants to learn. Vielen Danke Kiirsi, vielen vielen Danke!

Paige ran into her long time rival Katherine and although Katherine took the win this time, Paige made it a match to watch!  Kami played against a doubles player at S4 that moved up with a Wooster realignment and despite all Kami did, her opponent was simply stronger.  Cheers to Jenny & Sally at singles for clean wins and to Lilly & Kitty on D1 for overcoming some line call drama, staying focused and taking the win!  Olivia and Lilian met with some nice opponents who were aggressive in their net play, which didn't cause a blink as they prevailed on D2.  Aileen and Yolanda, ever patient while a court opened up for them to go on, surrounded by their teammates as they took the win on D3.  We had a great chance for 3 JV players to play Exhibition against Wooster and Patricia at singles and Kiirsi and Samar as a doubles team showed Wooster what Westover is made of!  Thank you everyone for your time and commitment to playing Tennis. I am SOO PROUD of you!
