5/8 Cheshire Invitational
The Wildcats had a strong showing at Friday’s tri-meet under the lights, with athletes continuing to improve and rack up PRs across the board! Sofie C led the sprint group with a 3rd place finish in the 100m and another strong race in the 200m, while Kemora B, Nadia S, Ariel H, D’Shawna C, Nina W, Zoey H, and Kennedy M all earned PRs in the 100m. D’Shawna C, Xiaoyan T, Juanita M, Nina W, and Kennedy M also added PR performances in the 200m.
In the 400m, Ariel H and Jerrianne R both ran PR races, with Dora X and Jincen P also posting personal bests. Dori U had a big day in the distance events with PRs in both the 1500m and 3000m. The Wildcats also picked up a win in the 4x100 relay behind Ariel H, Kemora B, Jerrianne R, and Sofie C.
As we head toward the end of the season, it’s exciting to see the hard work continue to pay off with stronger performances, growing confidence, and so many athletes hitting new personal bests. Go Wildcats!
