Cats Extend Their Win Streak to 4 on Senior Day

The team rose to the occasion, and honored their seniors with a dominating victory over Forman. At the heart of it all were the seniors-Sophie and Terese. Sophie led the charge with a dominant 20-point performance, grabbing 5 rebounds and swatting away 3 shots with authority. She played with urgency, toughness, and pride attacking the rim, protecting the paint, and refusing to let up for a single possession. Every sprint, every rebound, every finish was a reminder of how hard she’s worked to get to this moment. Terese battled every second she was on that court. She stayed locked in, and made her presence felt — getting on the board with a point and competing with heart on every possession. The stat sheet shows the point, but it doesn’t show the hustle, the grit, and the determination she brought from start to finish. Aniella was electric alongside them with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks — making plays all over the floor and feeding off the seniors’ energy. Akemi added 7 points, 4 rebounds, and a steal, doing the tough work that keeps momentum alive. Eva locked in defensively with 2 steals and a block, and Emelia delivered a huge momentum-shifting bucket while applying relentless pressure. Georgia chipped in with a point and a rebound to round out the total team effort.
The Cats led from the tip to the final buzzer as a result of determined and inspired play. It wasn’t just a win. It was a tribute to years of hard work, resilience, and commitment by our seniors, leading our team by example. They are the main reason the Cats are finishing the season strong, winning 5 of their last 6 games.
