Westover vs. Wooster

The Wildcats showed grit and determination in a hard-fought matchup against a strong Wooster squad, battling from start to finish with unwavering effort. In goal, Lily stood out with an impressive 12 saves, anchoring the defense and keeping the Wildcats competitive throughout. Her confidence and versatility were on full display late in the game when she charged downfield and took on an attacking role, even attempting to put one in the back of the net—a moment that energized the entire team.

Across the midfield, Sissi, Sofia, and Genesis delivered a standout performance, working tirelessly on both ends of the field and helping transition play under pressure. Defensively, Shaynne, Emma I, Ailyn, and Xuanyi played with intensity and aggression, stepping up to challenge Wooster’s attack and showing strong communication and hustle throughout.

The Wildcats found their rhythm in the fourth quarter, creating real scoring opportunities and pushing the pace, though the finishes just couldn’t quite find their way in. On offense, Daphne, Kailin, Yumi, and Stella applied constant pressure and showed great chemistry, while Lisa and Emma M. controlled possession effectively throughout the game, helping to organize and drive the attack.

Despite the challenges, the Wildcats demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and sparks of strong play.
