Total Team Effort Leads to First Win of the Season

The Wildcats earned their first win of the season in a complete, all-around performance that showed growth, confidence, and true teamwork from start to finish. Offensively, Emma M. led the charge with an impressive 6 goals while also controlling the field with 6 ground balls. Isabell added 2 goals, dominated draw control, and made a big impact by running lanes effectively on offense, finishing with 2 ground balls. Lisa matched that scoring effort and contributed 3 ground balls, playing a key role in maintaining possession and creating opportunities. Sophia stepped up in a big way with a strong performance, making key plays that helped shift momentum. Milan showed her versatility by moving from her usual defensive role to attack in the fourth quarter, stepping up when the team needed it. The offensive unit showed great chemistry and unselfish play throughout the game. Defensively, the team was locked in. Xuyani delivered a standout performance by shutting down the opposing team’s top player, holding Gunn to just one goal. Shaynnne, Milan, Kershelle, and Stella made huge contributions on the defensive end, applying constant pressure and staying disciplined.
Daphne was a force with 3 ground balls and worked seamlessly alongside Solace, who also had a strong game. Sissi brought intensity all game long, coming away with 3 ground balls through her aggressive play. Yumi stepped up defensively, contributing to the team’s overall strength on that side of the field. In goal, Lily was dominant with 10 saves, anchoring the defense and keeping the team in control throughout the game.
This win was a total team effort. Players stepped outside of their comfort zones, took on new roles, and played with confidence. The communication, energy, and trust on the field were evident, and it showed in the result. A great performance all around and an exciting step forward for this team.
