More Than the Score

The Wildcats fell short for their last game and first round of the HVAL playoff game. The energy and effort on the field showed how much this team has grown throughout the season.
Milan came up with 2 huge ground balls that helped keep momentum going. Lisa also had 2 ground balls and made some great passes throughout the game. She played amazing help defense and was always there to support her teammates. Emma M. had 2 draw control wins and worked hard in the midfield.
Lilly had a huge game in goal with 7 saves and also picked up 2 ground balls. She even stepped up to play midfield and crushed the draw. She played an all-around great game and gave everything she had. Emma M. stepped into goal for Lilly and made 2 saves. Stella, Lilly, and Emma M. each had interceptions that helped stop the other team’s offense.
Emma I. played huge defense all game and worked hard protecting the crease. Sissi had a really strong game and showed great chemistry with Lisa on the offensive end. They created a lot of opportunities and had several shots on goal, even if they didn’t end up going in.
The Wildcats fought until the final whistle, supported each other, and left it all on the field.
